Information for Information about Researchers at MCSS

Synchrotron researchers at Monash

MCSS supports synchrotron researchers at Monash in a variety of different ways.

We have our own research group working in areas such as X-ray imaging, radiotherapy, disease diagnosis and detector development.

To support this research, we fund a number of research fellowships and student scholarships. Many of our former students and fellows have gone on to contribute to synchrotron research elsewhere.

We also provide advice and assistance to others who are interested in using synchrotron radiation as part of their research. And we act as a centralised, first point of contact between Monash and the Australian Synchrotron and other overseas light sources.

Rob Lewis

"Our fellowship and postgraduate scholarship programs allow young researchers to develop their skills as synchrotron users in an innovative and vibrant environment."
